23 going on 24.

simple. i want to live my life as simple as it could be, but still be able to fulfill every dreams given to me by The Creator.

outgoing. i love to meet new people, making new friends, and listening to their stories. i believe that there are a lot of things that i need to learn about this world, and by having friends from different background, i'll enrich the quality of life for myself, as well as for others.

open-minded. growing up, i have set some personal values and principles which i believe will guide my life well. however, i would really love to hear yours because what might work well for me, will not work for you, and i would like to know why. and who knows, we might help one another to live better :)

caring. i am easily care for others who i think is in need. sometimes, it might be too much, and it could be misunderstood by the other party, which has been bothering me so much. i tried my best not to over-doing it, and i'm still working on it. so bare with me in this. but please, don't take my kindness as some kind of weakness.

emotional. just like any other girls, i have my so called "dark side". when i am down, sad, disappointed, angry, confused, and being misunderstood, i am most likely will experience the phase called "breakdown". during this phase, most of the time, i'll cry easily, become so quiet, and will try to stay out of the crowd. i'll try to figure out the things that i've done wrong and will try my best to find the solutions. however, since i can't do that on my own, i have always my private conversation with my Lord. Once i talked to Him, i'll be back to my normal state mind.

simply, let's just say that this is where i, through my writings about my everyday life, let my heart be known by others.

hope you'll be blessed! :)

another one gone. another Seattlelites. another person who make Seattle feels like home. it really sucks knowing the fact that every “hello” will always followed by “until we meet again”. but this is life. it always moves forward. just live it through. LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST :) every person you met along the way will always leave a color, a distinct color like no other, that will surely make your life more colorful. every single one of them is a special one. be thankful! for they are the one who shaped WHO YOU ARE TODAY, whether or not you ever realized it.

the bottom line is never regret all the things that have happened in your life. never regret meeting all those people you’ve met by far. learnt the lesson it brings. and always be THANKFUL and never stop to SMILE, most importantly never stop spreading out your LOVE :)

like it is said by Sidney Mohede, “LAUGH as much as you breathe and LOVE as long as you live…

got an e-mail yesterday saying that i got complimentary tickets to be on X-Factor On-Camera Audiences for Seattle’s Audition! once i finished reading the e-mail, i got overly excited all by myself. i know that’s kinda lame. but whatever, never really got this kind of opportunity during my 23 years of life. so, please bare with me being overjoyed here :D

oh and by the way, i could bring along three friends with this complimentary invitation, so, decided not to waste even a single ticket of it, i took three of my friends with me, which their faces you could find in one of the pictures.

this event was both entertaining and informative at the same time. being in this event, i learnt how this kind of show was being done professionally. all we got to see on the TV is the polished one. while being on the actual scene of the show, i got a privilege to see in more details of all their routines, which was so much fun to watch! and of course we got a chance to be on TV :D

the FUN part happened on the very last of the show. we decided to leave a little bit early, so we didn’t have to jostle with the crowd later on. when we’re about to leave the arena, one of its crew members asked us whether or not we would like to see where the judges were about to depart from the stadium. so we decided, “WHY NOT?” so, we went to spot directed by the crew member.

Simon Cowell was the first judge who left the stadium. saw him closer made my heart skipped a beat! he’s sooooo charminggggg! god knows why *grin* he rolled down the window and waved *CHARMED*

Paula Abdul was next after Simon. she’s kinda lame. maybe because she was very tired. just got into the car and just left like that. then Nicole Scherzinger was next. she was uberly nice and very pretty. she rolled down the window and waved quite some time! LA Reid was the last one who left. uuughh! this might be the first time ever to see American Stars this close. going to blame it to Seattle! why being so “countryside” city? no artist would like to visit. very rare. just lately more artists start coming and do concerts in here, when i was just about to leave the country. BOO!!

HERE COMES THE FUN PART! after all the judges left, my other three friends were about to leave the arena, but somehow, i was still stand there at the very front row of the bars, didn’t even know what i was waiting for. few seconds after that, the crews and the cameraman started to tell us to do some shouting for the camera, a little bit of acting needed here. kinda positioned at the very front, i have to do what they told us to do, otherwise, i’ll look very “stupid”. so there was I, shouting like crazy, and didn’t even know who i was shouting to. HAHAHAHAHAHA! a lot of fun! i might be appearing on the X-Factor auditioning’ episode later on! will be looking out for the clip for sureee! never been on the American TV Show before, so this will be very interesting. I can’t wait to see what i looked like that night :D Oh, and for the rest of my friends, knowing that there’s some shooting going on, they came back, but it’s a little bit too crowded to jostle to the front, so there they were, jumping and yelling from the back of the crowd, also trying to be captured by the camera! LOL! THAT WAS AWESOME! A VERY FUN AND UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT FOR SURE :) we could be very tacky when it comes to things about stardom! LONG LIVE TACKINESS!

sometimes, it’s better not knowing.

wanting to know everything sometimes sucks! why? because sometimes, it’s better for us for not knowing. some things are kept being a secret for a reason, A VERY GOOD REASON. when someone decided not to tell you about certain things, and you have an instinct that it’s also better for you to not knowing, then LET IT BE. don’t be such a KEPO for wanting to discover about all things, especially when you know exactly it’s gonna hurt you. *FYI, i’m not talking about knowledge here, it’s all about uncovering the secrets of love*

know, after discovering what this was all about, what good can it brings? NONE! and all i got? just another heartache, another disappointment, another regrets, and another waterfall of tears.

true, that this stupid mistake will lead me to become a better person, a better decision-maker to be exact, which is for not being such a kepo. good lessons sure to be earned from this. let’s say that I’M LEARNING MY LESSONS THROUGH THE HARD WAY. never go against the nature. just go flow with it. let it reveal its own truth. when the time is right, and when you’re ready, the truth will come to you. sometimes, it’s better for us to not knowing, at least for a certain period of time.

this kind of quote not only strengthen me during stormy seasons. it also reminds me that stormy seasons would always bring out something good. good lessons to make my life better. good lessons that will make me becoming a better person. i wouldn’t change those stormy seasons for anything. like we all know: EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. life is like a roller coaster, we just have to ride it. LET’S JUST ENJOY THE RIDE :)

regrets always come at the end. cliche, eh? but that’s how it is.

i wish i had discovered my passion in life earlier. when i was in college, i never knew what i really want to do in life, as in which field i want to work for the rest of my life. since it was very common for us, indonesian students, to take business as our major, so i just go with the flow. i took business as my major, studying specifically in finance and management.

now, being a graduated student of a major that i don’t have passion about, i feel so empty. i know that i wouldn’t be enjoying the work i have to do later on. i wouldn’t be looking forward going to work. it would be just a mundane day that i have to go through everyday. a very same cycle of boredom. a cycle of an “obligation” in life. a cycle to just keep myself “alive” and “being properly feed”.

if i could turn back the time, i surely know what i want to do! 100% or even 110% SURE! cause now i know what i really want to do in life, for the rest of my life. it wouldn’t be just a mundane day, it wouldn’t just be a same cycle of boredom, it wouldn’t be just a cycle of “obligations” in life, and it wouldn’t be just a cycle of keeping myself “alive” and “being properly feed”! everyday would be an EXTRAORDINARY DAY, it would be a cycle of EXCITEMENT, it would be a time to DISCOVERED SOMETHING NEW, and it would be a LIFETIME EXPERIENCE! cause i know that taking Criminal Investigation/Crime Scene Evidence Analysis/Criminal Justice as my major would keep my SPIRIT ALIVE! i know i would looking forward to go to work everyday. how i wish i could turn back the time or it would be more logical to say “how i wish i had discovered my passion in life earlier

now, it has all been too late. all that is left now is regrets. but you know what, rather than just regretting of all the things that have happened, i would rather just strive to make the best of it. who knows, someday in the future i might get a chance to go back to school and pursue this dream job.

Gowdieeee! last monday (November 22, 2010), Seattle had its first snow for the year! started with a snow shower in the afternoon, and then turned into a snow storm in the evening! freakiinnnn awesomeee!! i had my early white christmas wish :)) really couldn’t ask for more this year. even if it doesn’t snow this Christmas, i guess i wouldn’t be so disappointed.

Conclusion: first of all, thank you, Lord, for creating this white pretty chilly little thingy called snow!! it’s the best creation of all!! also, thank you for giving me the opportunity to experience Your magical creation :) and last but not least, thank you for granting my christmas wish this early. Love yaaaaa!!

There will always be the first time for everything. After this “first time”, then you will need to decide whether or not you want to continue doing what you did. Putting on a wrong foot could make your life a disaster. So, be careful of what you’ll decide. Think far ahead. If you need to, make a list of both the positives and the negatives of that “first time” thing you have tasted. Will it be worth it for you to have the second-time, third-time, fourth-time, and so on..

Don’t confirm to what this world want you to be. Stand strong in what you believe is RIGHT for you.

With Love.

Took this test on Facebook called “Reveal Your Personality through Your Working Style” and here are the results:

My Personality:

You are twice as good when working at a job that you believe in, since your feeling adds energy to your efforts. You see the needs of the moment and try to meet them. You want your work to contribute to something that matters to you— human understanding, happiness, or health. You want to have a purpose beyond your paycheck, no matter how big the check. You are perfectionists whenever you deeply care about something, and are particularly suited for work that requires both devotion and a large measure of adaptability.

My Working Styles:

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You are friendly
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : Adaptable and a realist
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You rely on what you see
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : Hear
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : And know first-hand
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You good-naturedly accept and use the facts around you
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You look for a satisfying solution instead of trying to impose any “should” or “must” of your own
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You are sure a satisfying solution will turn up once you have grasped all the facts
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You solve problems by being adaptable
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : And often can get other to adapt too
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : People generally like you well enough to consider any compromise you suggest
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You are unprejudiced open-minded
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : And tolerant of most everyone — including yourself
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You take things as they are and thus may be very good at easing a tense situation and pulling conflicting factions together
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You are somewhat quiet and reserved
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : Although you can be quite talkative on a subject where you can apply your great storehouse of information
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : In everyday activities you are adaptable
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : Except when one of your ruling principles is violated
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : At which point you stop adapting
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You are good with your hands
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : And like sports and the outdoors
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : Or anything that provides a wealth of information for your senses
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You are interested mainly in the realities brought to you by your senses
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : Both inner and outer
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You are apt to enjoy fields where taste
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : Discrimination
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : And a sense of beauty and proportion are important
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You have a special love of nature and a sympathy with animals
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You often excel in craftsmanship and the work of your hands is usually more eloquent than words
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : You are in some danger of putting off decisions or of failing to follow through
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : One of your outstanding traits is economy of effort
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : This trait is an asset if you judge accurately how much effort is needed; then you do what the situation requires without fuss or lost motion
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : If you cannot judge accurately
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : Or if you just don’t bother
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ : Then nothing of importance gets done

Thrilled I found a media that has helped me to know myself better than before :)

People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a TRUE SOUL MATE is a MIRROR, the person who shows you everything that’s holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake.

But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful!

Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then they leave. And thank God for it :)
